Step 3: Soak the Cartridge – Soak the cartridge in a bucket filled with a filter cleaning solution for at least two hours.

Step 1: Shut Off the Pump – Turn off the pump and remove the backwash plug from the waste line.

Step 5: Refill the DE Powder – Open the filter’s air relief valve and, using a funnel, add more DE powder through the skimmer.
