Calculation method of circulating flow:

 

1). In China:

qc = (Vp·ap)/Tp

Explanation:

qc -- Circulating flow of swimming pool (m3/h)

Vp -- Swimming pool water volume (m3)

ap -- The water volume additional factor of the pipe and equipment of the swimming pool is generally 1.05~1.10.

 

2) In UK:

Circulating flow(m3/h) = Instant swimming pool load × 1.7

 

PS:The coefficient 1.7 has no theoretical basis, but it has proven to be effective in practice. However, for some swimming pools, such as diving pools and swimming pools with a water depth of more than 2.0 meters, this formula cannot be used .
